Crane Family Reunion 2012

Our reunion was the second weekend in June.  We started our reunion with a flag raising ceremony.  Grandpa, Kevin, Brody, and Calvin raised the flag. 

We went to Georgetown to see the Word War II monument.  We took a family photo.  Then I quickly took a picture of the stone honoring my Grandpa.  It was so cold we all ran back to the cars to get warm. 

 We tried to play kickball, but it was so cold we couldn't play for very long.  So we played games in the heated garage.  We played Fruit Basket, Spoons, and a fun game with candy bars.

After we played games, we went into the house and watched the movie Swiss Family Robinson- a classic.  We ate candy and enjoyed watching the movie.

A Surprise Weekend

At the end of May Dave surprised me with a night at the Anniversary Inn. We stayed in the Swiss Family Robinson Room. The bed was upstairs; it was made to look like it was in the top of a tree house.  We had complimentary Sparkling Cider and yummy cupcakes.  In the morning, we had a very delightful breakfast that was delivered to our room.  We had a lot of fun; I hope we get to go again sometime soon!
